DimWit

A collection of thoughts of the world and one’s place in it. Written and visualized directly to the viewer.

Includes excerpts from the print issue as well as two promotional flyers.

Look and Blink

In a world full of deception and hyper focus, trust is hard fought. Some are unwilling to view the truth while others are unable. Truth is muddied by the projection of one’s own truth out into the world, which is cast back to us.

AType Stack

Cut and stacked system of paper to create the negative shapes of the alphabet. With multiple readings of the shapes, it challanges perception and forces the viewer to reconcile with what it takes to form a recognizable letter.

LEFT

Process Color Screen Print- “A Balanced Plate”
Focuses on time as a means of change. The food is untouched except for the food being played with. In time, the balanced portions will fall into disorder, the food will rot and the meomories will distort.

RIGHT

Collage- “Refractions Through Unholy Eyes”
Focuses on the way other’s actions and beliefs filter through the lens we carry with us daily. From top to bottom the view shifts, from whistful spectation to ruthless judgement as they all watch.

Make Time

Process Color Screen Print

The color wheel follows the time of day. With numbers facing both directions it can be read from any angle. Emphasises the passing of time and calls for creation.

Digital Collage

LEFT

“Transit”
The reach of infrasturture is widening while the need for housing increases with it. The home is a private sector but the roads are flooded with servalence. The space between domains goes unused by most.

TOP RIGHT

“Spectator Sport”
Trying to capture the energy of an old video game. The main figure feels the immense pressure from those that he beleives to be watching. A claustrophobic feeling is cultivated in the environment.

BOTTOM RIGHT

“The Warmth of the Hunted”
As the landscape is scared  by human intervention, we use the signs of life, to take natural life, as we give life to the machine. True signs of life are more scarce than ever or, those who wish not to be hunted, have found a way to hide.
